Front Of House Volunteers

Volunteers help CFCArts create a welcoming, inclusive environment that makes patrons new and old feel right at home attending a performance.  From box office to ushers, ticket takers, concessions, and greeters, our volunteers are essential members of our team.

In thanks, volunteers are welcome to two complimentary tickets to the show they’re working, and two tickets to a future show, subject to availability. Please email volunteer@cfcarts.com with any questions.

Youth Theatre Program Staff and Intern Openings

The CFCArts Youth Theatre Program is hiring interns and technicians for immediate openings and opportunities, and will be hiring program staff including Teaching Artists, Stage Managers, Choreographers, Music Directors, and more!

Youth Theatre Jr. Companies

A beginner theatre program for students in grades Pre-K through 2. The Jr. Companies perform three to four times a year, alongside the Jr. Troupe and Companies, featured in pre-show performances and in small roles within the larger production. Teaching Artists and Assistants are needed for this program. Stipends range from $125 to $500 per production depending on role, responsibilities, and length of program.

Youth Theatre Companies
An intermediate theatre program for students in grades 3 through 12. The Companies perform three to four times a year, alongside the Jr. Troupe and Jr. Companies, as the ensemble and featured roles within our productions. Teaching Artists and Assistants are needed for this program. Stipends range from $150 to $550 per production depending on role, responsibilities, and length of program.
Youth Theatre Jr. Troupe

An advanced, auditioned theatre program for students in grades 3 through 12. The Jr. Troupe perform three to four times a year, alongside the Companies and Jr. Companies, as the lead and supporting roles within our productions. Directors, Stage Managers, Music Directors, Choreographers, and more are needed for this program. Stipends range from $200 to over $1,000 per production depending on role, responsibilities, and length of program.

Youth Theatre Troupe

A pre-professional, auditioned theatre program for students in grades 3 through 12, or grades 6 through 12, depending on the current production. The Troupe performs three to four times a year in full-scale musicals and plays. Directors, Stage Managers, Music Directors, Choreographers, and more are needed for this program. Stipends range from $250 to $1,000 per production depending on role, responsibilities, and length of program.

Youth Theatre Camps
Throughout the year, CFCArts runs dozens of theatre-based performing arts camps during school holidays and summer break for students entering grades Pre-K through 12. These half-day and full-day camps, ranging from one day to multiple weeks, include acting, musical theatre, vocal music, choreography, creative drama, improv, playwriting, directing, audition technique, and more. Teaching Artists and Assistants are needed for these programs. Stipends vary per camp or intensive depending on role, responsibilities, and length of program.
Youth Theatre Interns and Volunteers

CFCArts Youth Programs are open to interested high school, college, and early career young professionals for unpaid internships and volunteer positions. Email Leah@CFCArts.com with a resume or overview of your experience within the performing arts and/or working with children, 1-2 references (names and emails), and availability over the next 2-3 weeks for a virtual interview if interested.

Marketing Intern
Supervisor: Advancement Department
Type of Position: Unpaid Internship – Spring/Summer/Fall Semesters

Job Description Summary

  • Reporting directly to the Marketing Manager. Assist with daily tasks such as creating social media content, promotional materials, graphic design and branding.

Job Responsibilities

Essential duties and responsibilities may include the following. Other duties may be assigned.

  • Create engaging photo and video content for CFCArts’ social media outlets.
  • Draft print and online communications for members and patrons including media releases, emails, and social media posts
  • Create graphic design elements for CFCArts branding
  • Assist in promotional efforts for events in the community

Minimum Qualifications

  • Strong written and verbal skills and reliable source of transportation during work hours.
